Tribal Connection Market

Daryl Makk, Tarah Buchanan and Ruth Coyote performed for an enthusiastic audience at Tribal Connection Mart in Okotoks, AB. The “listening room” began to fill as early as 6:30PM. Excited guests stood in line eager to fill their drinks and find their seats. Ruth and Tarah stood around conversing with the patrons as Daryl reviewed his notes in the back room.

The show started off with a bang, Tarah opened the show like she usually does with 3 applause breaks and some crowd work. Figuring out their vibe was the driver for success. They were an open minded crowd with a hankering to laugh making it a sinch for Ruth Coyote to kill with her silly puns and rap music refernces.

Daryl hit the stage and boy was it ever a show. Doing 15 minutes longer than his contractural obligation. The crowd wanted more and Daryl happily delivered. Smoothly transition from story to story with hilarious crowd interaction in between. The back of the room was howling like a pack of coyotes and Ruth was sitting in the front! The show closed with a standing ovation and a long hang afterwards of getting to know the patrons more and swapping social media accounts.
