Headliner Dave Merheje is considered to be one of the most original stand-up acts in the comedy scene today. His multiple award-winning act has gained a loyal following across North America with his “no fear” approach on stage is best described as aggressively in-your-face funny. Dave had his first comedy special air in Australia on ABC2, and has made appearances on Comedy Network’s Match Game, was a regular contributor on MTV Live, recurred on CBC’s Mr. D, and he co-stars in the comedy series Ramy on Hulu.
Host: Scott Dumas is the winner of Alberta’s Funniest New Comic in his first year of comedy, but was disqualified for going over his allotted time. “They wouldn’t stop laughing”. He has showcased for numerous prestigious festivals over his 20-year career, including the YYCOMEDY Festival in Calgary, as well as the 13th Anniversary show for the prestigious and long running, Comedy Monday Night.
Middle Act: Tarah Buchanan, started doing standup comedy in Toronto in 2014 and hasn’t looked back. She has performed on stages from NY to LA, hosted the SNL cast at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival in 2022 and will be celebrating her Fish Bowl Comedy Show’s 3 Year Anniversary in August 2024. This girl has an unbreakable spirit and is proof of what small incremental improvements everyday can add up to!
