The Fish Bowl Comedy Show is every Wednesday at 730pm, only at the Unicorn Superpub (223 8 Ave SW Calgary, AB).
Fish Bowl is the only open mic in Calgary that pays every comic on the show! That’s right, if you paid admission then just know you put $10 in someone’s pocket!
Always wanted to try standup comedy? Show up before 7:30pm and have your name thrown into the lotto. Names are drawn 5 minutes before the show starts and spots are limited.

Host of the Fish Bowl Comedy Show, Tarah Buchanan, started doing standup comedy in Toronto in 2014 and hasn’t looked back. She has performed on stages from NY to LA, hosted the SNL cast at the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival in June 2022 and will be celebrating her show’s 3 Year Anniversary in August 2024. This girl has an unbreakable spirit and is proof of what small incremental improvements everyday can add up to!
